Lotus stock gained 75 cents in over-the-counter trading today to close at $29.50.

Lotus stock inched up 12.5 cents today, to $25.25, after tumbling $6.125 on Thursday.

However, Microsoft's shares fell $1.75, to $57.25, today, while Lotus stock slipped 25 cents, to $26.

Lotus stock slipped 12.5 cents in Nasdaq trading yesterday, to $34.625 a share, while Borland's stock tumbled $4.375, to $17, as Nasdaq's loss leader.

Lotus stock lost 50 cents a share yesterday, closing at $34.125 in Nasdaq trading.

He rates Lotus stock as "high risk" and has it on his "not recommended" list.

Investors reacted negatively and Lotus stock dropped $3.50, to $25.25, in heavy over-the-counter trading today.

In over-the-counter trading today, Lotus stock was down $2, to $22.

Yesterday, investors again expressed their enthusiasm for the deal, sending Lotus stock up $5.75 a share on the news, to a new high of $85.50.

Lotus stock surged $28.9375, to close at $61.4375.
