The neighbourhood is a single-family residential area on both sides of Keele Street which is a commercial street.

It then turned west following Finch to Keele Street.

The area east of Keele Street is also known informally as the "West Bend" neighbourhood.

The Highway 7 corridor west of Keele Street is served by Viva Orange.

The station will be built underground and parallel to Keele Street.

Nearby landmarks include Fountainhead Park and the commercial strip along Keele Street.

New roads will be built to provide easier access (currently there are two entrances from Keele Street and Wilson Avenue).

Maple is accessed by Major Mackenzie Drive and Keele Street.

Keele Street was then a boggy swamp area that forced most travelers to take alternate routes.
