Joey Mullen's second goal of the game tied the score at 19:11.
Besides losing Lemieux, the Penguins also went without Joey Mullen, who left the game in the first period after taking a shot on his foot.
Joey Mullen played at Boston College and signed as a free agent with the St. Louis Blues in 1979.
