The Stash snow park was created by Jake Burton, the father of snowboarding.

The main character is explosives expert Jake Burton of the Marines division, voiced by Bruce Campbell.

It has been 20 years since Jake Burton began turning out snowboards from his small shop in Londonderry, Vt.

When Jake Burton won a competition in the late seventies using bindings they rapidly became the norm.

The founder, Jake Burton, started making snowboards in the 1980's using steam-bent wood and fiberglass, and a movement was born.

Jake Burton built his first snowboard while living in Manchester, near Stratton, which was the first major ski resort to allow snowboarding.

"Our tendency is to follow the direction that riders are taking the sport," said Jake Burton, founder of Burton Snowboards.

Jake Burton is quoted as saying, "When I started listening to Craig that was when my company became successful and really took off."

Each year, Jake Burton has hosted the Fall Bash, to promote good will among employees and friends of the company.

"Craig played a huge role in making it a sport," said Jake Burton of Burlington, Vt., his main sponsor.
