No doubt with Ivy Bridge being out by the time this comes out, it will be better all round.

Midrange is generally $100-$150, and Ivy Bridge isn't even going to scratch that market.

Ivy Bridge might be able to do something in the low-end market, but not a whole lot.

They're able to get the die sizes down so low now, with Ivy Bridge and so forth.

But wouldn't Ivy Bridge be better for x86 Windows 8 tablets?

So maybe they do have some magic technology in the pipeline that could take it up with Ivy Bridge while being lean on the battery.

Apple wouldn't likely be using the 22nm high performance process node that will see introduction with Ivy Bridge.

We will see what it does for Ivy Bridge.
