Henry Percy, 6th Earl of Northumberland, courtier (died 1537)

Henry Percy, 4th Earl of Northumberland was killed here in 1489 by a mob of protesters against taxation.

He was supported by Henry Percy, 9th Earl of Northumberland, who for several years gave him an annual pension.
