A group show that opened yesterday at the Heller Gallery demonstrates a new and important trend: painting on glass.

In December he had a well-received and commercially successful exhibition at the Heller Gallery in Manhattan.

His most recent work can be seen at the Heller Gallery through Oct. 4.

The one now at the Heller Gallery is no exception.

His containers, on display at the Heller Gallery, are also reminiscent of Impressionist works brushed with a Midas touch.

Across the street, Michael Heller, whose 7,100-square-foot Heller Gallery is the most spacious on the block, was also savoring his new neighborhood.

More are scheduled, including one Oct. 7-29 at the Heller Gallery in SoHo.

Six of them have been lent by the Heller Gallery, where they sell for $3,500 to $9,600.
