Grant said his father loved sports and soon he did, too.

She doesn't care if we live or die, Grant said to himself.

"In the first half, with me out there, we were getting used to each other again," Grant said.

"Every guy on the court had to come out and play their best basketball," Grant said.

"I think we were three of the best athletes to ever play on one team," said Grant.

"You just keep working hard and hope eventually it will pay off," Grant said.

"You guys made a big deal out of nothing," Grant said.

"No, we understand about the difference in your world," Grant said.

Grant had suspected that, but said nothing as the other continued.

"You came in awful late to be getting everybody up so early," Grant said.
