Gran Fury was an activist/artist collective that came together in 1988.
But whereas General Idea's work is somewhat oblique, Gran Fury means to be straightforward.
Because the C-body Fury had been redesigned for 1974, the 1975 Gran Fury received few changes besides its new name.
A redesigned downsized Gran Fury would return in 1980.
So finally in 1980 the Gran Fury returned after a two-year absence.
As in previous years, the higher-volume Gran Fury base model was catered more towards fleet customers as police cars and taxis.
This generation of the Gran Fury sold in respectable numbers.
The organizations were precursors to Gran Fury and the Guerrilla Girls.
