"The customers were complaining," said Gene Pressman, an executive vice president.
"I was totally dizzy for the last two years," Gene Pressman conceded.
"We have a long history of supporting our smaller vendors," Gene Pressman said.
"On the one hand, we're complimented that people are paying so much attention to us," Gene Pressman said.
"The offers from mall owners are endless," said Gene Pressman.
"After we opened," said Gene Pressman, "we found the men's business was doing way above the $600-a-foot average."
"We're doing this like it's our home," Gene Pressman says.
The glamour and style of the women's fashion business clearly appeals to Gene Pressman.
Over the years, Gene Pressman has certainly done plenty of field research.
Gene Pressman, president of Barneys, did not return calls seeking comment.
