Once the Gateway Hotel, operated during the summers by Mr. Allan's grandfather, Harry C. Pomeran and his wife, Libby, the barn on the property was first converted into a theater in the round.

He was at one time Chairman of Gateway Hotels.

When he stayed in for late meetings he used the company suite at the Gateway Hotel near his office in the World Trade Center.

Not quite as luxurious, though very nice, is the Gateway Hotel on Banjara Hill, Road No. 1, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad 500 034; 222-222.

Adorned with dark wood interiors, this classy restaurant at the Gateway Hotel serves some of the best seafood in town.

It is also home to The Gateway Hotel by Taj.

Accommodations are available at the Gateway Hotel and Restaurant for those who are here as visitors, or who do not at present wish to sign the Memorandum of Agreement.

The building was renamed the Gateway Hotel in 1966.
