On his current tour, anyone wanting to hear Eagles songs will have to sit through 17 others before he gets to "Life in the Fast Lane."

Many songs were steady-strummed ballads like Eagles songs, but with uneasy feelings.

The song is based on a sample from the Eagles song "Those Shoes".
