"We got the two quick goals for the lead," said Doug Carpenter, the Devils' coach.

Doug Carpenter was dismissed after three and a half seasons of slow but steady progress.

"We didn't give ourselves much of a chance," said Coach Doug Carpenter.

"They walked all over us," said Doug Carpenter, the coach of the Devils.

He was also an assistant coach with the Devils under Doug Carpenter.

He gave signs of being a goal scorer in the past, but he was not going too well under Doug Carpenter.

"It's not going to be easy," said the Devils' coach, Doug Carpenter.

"A half of a loaf we would have taken," said Toronto's coach, Doug Carpenter.

"When push comes to shove, that's the time to put out something extra," said Coach Doug Carpenter.

Doug Carpenter, the team's coach for four seasons, was dismissed Jan. 26.
