"Dixie Road" was Lee Greenwood's third number one on the country chart.

The first section, between Cawthra Road and Dixie Road, opened in early 1991.

This was followed several years later by the section from Dixie Road to Eglinton Avenue that opened in late 1994.

The buildings of the office complex at the foot of Dixie Road have been saved for public use.

The aerodrome was situated on a 100-acre property on Lakeshore Road just west of Dixie Road in Mississauga.

Currently the tallest structure is a 25 story condominium building, Applewood Place, located on the northwest corner of Bloor Street and Dixie Road.

It consisted of that part of the City of Brampton lying west of Dixie Road.

Its new location is at 7080 Dixie Road, Mississauga, Ontario.

It is located at 2445 Dixie Road in Mississauga, just south of Dundas Street East.

Located at 8200 Dixie Road, the building was acquired by Rogers in 2006 from Nortel, which used the building as their global headquarters since 1997.
