Based on the experience of Lehigh engineers who went into industry a College of Business & Economics was added in 1910.

Studies began in the early 2000s for a new College of Business and Economics structure.

In 1974 the College of Economics was founded.

The College of Economics promotes cultural diversity and host many international students both on scholarships and self-funded.

This was followed by the establishment of the College of Business & Economics in 1985.
