It was located on the western side of the Glasgow-Edinburgh mainline at Carlisle Street.

A new town hall was built for the city on the corner of Carlisle Street and Brighton Road.

The road crosses into Landisburg and becomes Carlisle Street, passing homes.

Shortly after, at the junction with Carlisle Street, there is another name change to Brighton Road.

Many of the performers would eat at Miss Pearl's house, which was located right behind the venue on Carlisle Street.

Offices at numbers 10-12 Carlisle Street, built in 1959-60, now occupy the site of the house, but are slated to be replaced with a hotel.

From here, the route heads north on two-lane undivided Carlisle Street past homes.

It is also a mixed-use development, with room for retail space at street level on Carlisle Street.
