When Duane Allman died in a motorcycle accident, Oakley was devastated, according to drummer Butch Trucks.

(His uncle, Butch Trucks, is one of the Allman Brothers' drummers.)

After joining the Allman Brothers Band, Butch Trucks has stayed there since 1969, save for the group's first (1976-1979) and second (1982-1989) hiatuses.

"That's a lot of going to one place over two years," said Butch Trucks, 56, one of the band's original two drummers.

Trucks was the uncle of Butch Trucks, a founding member of the Allman Brothers Band.

Duane leads the guitarists to find a joint lullaby whose emotive changes play against Butch Trucks' percussive tympani washes.

He will be sharing the twin-guitar passages with Derek Trucks, the nephew of the band's drummer, Butch Trucks.

Despite this success, Butch Trucks recalls of the time that, "celebrity is the worse thing that ever happened to the Allman Brothers."

It was released in 2000 on Butch Trucks' record label, Flying Frog Records.
