How can the president help them without damaging American relations with China?

American relations with the Sudan have been strained for some time.

American relations with both countries had become cool of late.

American relations with Syria have warmed somewhat in the last year.

It is also likely to affect American relations with other countries.

American relations with Europe have also been darkened by the war.

A senior administration official acknowledged that American relations with the group had been "a little ragged."

Sad, because American international relations are worse than they were before 9/11.

Yet this feeling goes against the current analysis of European and American relations.

It would be useful, too, from an American public relations and morale vantage.
