There will also be several public discussions involving both Soviet and American participants.

American participants said the Soviet scientists were more open than ever before in discussing mission plans.

He said that both Russian and American participants would "favor strengthening those programs," despite some frank discussion of their weaknesses.

"We urged them to solve them quickly," said one American participant in trade talks between the two nations.

The research found a greater number of childhood memories among American participants than in other cultural groups.

The bulk of the selloff came before most American participants had even arrived at their desks.

"It's a wonderful opportunity to try to influence history," an American participant said.

The program starts in the summer for both American and German participants.
