Before 1900, the New York State curriculum and Regents examinations were introduced and the Alumnae Association was founded.

Its Alumnae Association, composed of about 4,100 graduates, provides support for a number of school functions.

In 1935 the Alumnae Association was established with most of its efforts directed toward communication, reunions, special events for alumni and the annual alumni phonathon.

In 1942 the Alumnae Association donated chimes for the Chapel, and in the fall of 2005 renovations were completed.

She became the first female trustee of the Western Female Seminary, and served as the President of the Alumnae Association.

They are escorted by approximately 3,000 alumnae, also in white, who thereby welcome them into the Alumnae Association.

In 1941, the gymnasium, cafeteria, and music room were added to the property with funding raised by the Alumnae Association.
