Of the 206 students taking 302 AP tests in 2010, 85% received scores of 3, 4, or 5.
AP tests are scored on a 1 to 5 scale as follows:
Students are encouraged, but not required to take the AP test in the spring.
In May 2008, 195 students took a total of 325 AP tests.
An AP test allows students to receive college credit, provided they score a 3 or higher.
Other AP tests can be taken at the behest of students.
Students have been known to study on their own and do exceedingly well on AP tests.
The school administers many, but not all, of the AP tests within its building.
Which gives high school and college credit to students if they pass the AP test in May with a 3 or higher.
