The three warriors said nothing, but the King could see their minds working.
The warrior glared at the young officer, but said nothing.
"I'd better go," the warrior said at last, to no one in particular.
But obviously a warrior can't just say he believes and let it go at that.
"We know who you are, all right," said the other warrior.
"The warriors in council alone may say what shall be done."
"My fierce and beautiful warrior," the voice inside the boy said to the woman.
"No one ever taught him the word," said the warrior.
Soon, others came to see if what the warrior had said was true.
"Find a safe place and stay there," said the warrior.
