Schoenoplectus lacustris - Common Club-rush, Bulrush (Europe, Asia, Africa)

An inventory of aquatic plants in 1997 showed the western and southern parts of the lake are dominated by Spiked Water-milfoil and Yellow Water-lily, while the eastern part is dominated by Common Club-rush and Common Reed.

Many species of aquatic plants are present in the lake: Reed, Common Club-rush, Water Horsetail, Narrow Leaf Cattail, White Beak-sedge, Gypsywort, Bulbous Rush, White Waterlily, Broad-leaved Pondweed, Alternate Water-milfoil, and Intermediate Bladderwort.

A narrow fringe of emigerent plant species dominated by common reed (phragmites austrailis) and common club-rush (schoenoplectus lacustris) occures along some stretches of the lakeshore.
