The park contains beech, fir, pines, and oak species as well as species such as Purple Willow, Norway Maple, Silver birch, and European silver fir in the northern slopes of the Park area.

The larvae feed on Populus species, such as Populus nigra, Populus balsamifera and Populus tremula, but also on Salix purpurea.

The larvae feed on Salix alba, Salix babylonica, Salix daphnoides, Salix fragilis, Salix incana, Salix purpurea, Salix triandra and Salix viminalis.

On the riverbanks kept in natural state, small groves of willow trees (Salix alba, Salix fragilis, Salix purpurea, Salix petandra, Salix triandra etc.) can still be found, mixed with white poplar (Populus alba).

The larvae feed on Populus alba, Populus candicans, Populus deltoides, Populus gileadensis, Populus nigra, Populus tremula, Salix aurita, Salix caprea, Salix cinerea, Salix fragilis, Salix purpurea.

Several species and hybrid cultivars of willows (often known as osiers) are grown for withy production; typical species include Salix acutifolia, Salix daphnoides, Salix x mollissima, Salix purpurea, Salix triandra, and Salix viminalis.
