Holmes' tremor is a combination of rest, action, and postural tremors.

A person who has a postural tremor will shake while sitting or standing, but not while lying down.

A postural tremor may also accompany intention tremors.

Cerebellar damage can also produce a "wing-beating" type of tremor called rubral or Holmes' tremor - a combination of rest, action, and postural tremors.
