posterior spinocerebellar tract

Proprioceptive information from the body is carried to the cerebellum via the posterior spinocerebellar tract.

The dorsal spinocerebellar tract (posterior spinocerebellar tract, Flechsig's fasciculus, Flechsig's tract) conveys inconscient proprioceptive information from the body to the cerebellum.

It extends throughout the entire length of the medulla spinalis, and on transverse section appears as an oval area in front of the posterior column and medial to the posterior spinocerebellar tract.
