The Post-Residency Program supports physicians as they serve two-year terms in mission hospitals and consider becoming career missionaries.

Following this training, one- or two- year post-residency fellowships are available in immunodermatology, phototherapy, laser medicine, Mohs micrographic surgery, cosmetic surgery or dermatopathology.

Today, SCSSW continues to provide a 27-month intensive training program for approximately 350 masters' students and 30 doctoral students who are in residence, with another 47 doctoral students in post-residency working on their dissertations.
