A pin spanner is used on adjustable bottom brackets.

As you no longer need to find and fit your PIN Spanner.

It comes complete with a 24 tooth saw blade, fence center support, 2 bench mounting bolts and a pin spanner.

If you cannot find the pin spanner for the angle grinder or even worse, having found it, still cannot remove the nut.

Pin Spanners to suit Nylon backing pads as above and other similar types of lock nuts.

Bottom Brackets come in two basic types, those that use a Shimano-compatible splined tool (usually a cartridge-type bottom bracket) and those that use the traditional bottom bracket tool set (lock ring spanners, pin spanners, fixed cup wrenches, etc).
