The Kerguelen Shag (Phalacrocorax verrucosus) is a species of cormorant endemic to the Kerguelen Islands.

Five or six pairs of Wandering Albatrosses breed there as well as unknown numbers of Northern Giant Petrels and Kerguelen Shags.

There are also small numbers of Northern Giant Petrels, Kerguelen Shags, Eaton's Pintails and Kerguelen Terns.

Other birds breeding in the IBA include Eaton's Pintails, Kerguelen Shags, Black-faced Sheathbills and Kerguelen Terns.

Other birds breeding in the site include Northern Giant Petrels, Kerguelen Terns Light-mantled Albatrosses, White-chinned Petrels and Kerguelen Shags.

There are also large numbers of breeding Gentoo Penguins, Kerguelen Shags, Black-faced Sheathbills, Brown Skuas, Kerguelen and Antarctic Terns, and Kelp Gulls.

Other birds nesting in the IBA include a few pairs of Wandering Albatrosses, Antarctic and Slender-billed Prions, White-chinned, Northern Giant and Common Diving Petrels, Kerguelen Shags, Kerguelen Terns, Black-faced Sheathbills and Eaton's Pintails.
