The paper publishes seven days a week and had weekday paid circulation of 33,082 and Sunday paid circulation of 34,602 in 2011.
Its average paid daily circulation as of last Sept. 30 was 307,776.
L.A. Style has paid circulation of more than 60,000 and Buzz has a circulation of about 63,000.
Only 12,000 of that is paid circulation; the rest are mailed free to wealthy residents.
The magazine reported an average U.S. paid circulation of 824,334 issues per month, of which 609,238 were subscriptions.
Eventually, paid circulation increased to 38,000.
By 2000, though, daily paid circulation climbed back to 395,000, Mr. Colombani said, and the surge in appetite for news after the terror attacks added 10,000.
By July paid circulation exceeded a thousand copies.
Despite the efforts to shore it up, paid circulation has continued to fall.
Its circulation on news stands is 986,447, making the total average paid circulation: 2,397,508.
