My passive vocabulary has a few more words, that makes it possible to understand even the thoughts of other people.

Words that are only understood and not used are called "passive vocabulary".

Although the authentic language feature implies a high passive vocabulary, the active vocabulary is only 600 words.

As a consequence, formerly suppressed words switched from the more or less passive vocabulary of the Croatian literary language to the active one without any special stylistic marking.
