Highlights were 9 Whimbrel, hundreds of Dunlin, 3 Canvasback, 11 species of warblers including male and female Northern Parula warblers.

The northern parula is one of the smaller Northern migratory warblers, often being one of the smallest birds in a mixed feeding flock besides kinglets or gnatcatchers.

Among them the Blackburnian Warbler, the Northern Parula, the Black-throated Blue Warbler, and the Ovenbird responded at more than one scale.

A Grey Catbird, Ovenbird and Northern Parula were then seen and the Cuban Trogan's came closer and gave us amazingly good views.

Back at the car park a Cuban Green Woodpecker was seen sticking his head out of a nest hole and another Yellow-throated Warbler and Northern Parula were seen.
