Galium boreale or Northern Bedstraw is a plant species of the genus Galium.

Other notable montane and sub-montane species include hair sedge, Carex capillaris, northern bedstraw, Galium boreale, mountain everlasting, Antennaria dioica, and alpine forget-me-not, Myosotis alpestris.

There were the late-blooming lavender asters, brown-eyed susans, lacy white northern bedstraw, feathery goldenrod, rich purple loosestrife, brilliant pink blazing star and lastly ... most importantly ... she interspersed the bouquet with fragrant stalks of yellow sweet clover.

The larvae feed on Galium species, including Galium verum and Galium boreale.
