Cashier's checks feature the name of the issuing bank in a prominent location, usually the upper left-hand corner or upper centre of the check.

When the Comoro Islands became a separate French territory, the name of the issuing bank was changed to Banque de Madagascar et des Comores.

The numbers on cards to be taken along should be copied, together with the name of the issuing bank and the phone number to call in the event of trouble (numbers for use overseas are different from domestic ones).
