Dr. Goldfarb has recently introduced a comparatively simple technique for taming fibroids called myolysis.

There are several other ways of removing fibroids or killing fibroid tissue, including using extreme cold (cryomyolysis), or laser (myolysis).

However, it is misleading to suggest that myolysis, which you describe as "a comparatively simple technique for taming fibroids," is an alternative for a hysterectomy.

Other treatments include endometrial ablation (when the inside lining of the uterus is removed) and myolysis (when freezing or an electric current is used to destroy the fibroids).
