The species of fish targeted will be the same as from the beach but will include species such as Ballan Wrasse.

Notable marine species include the ormer, conger, bass, undulate ray, grey mullet, ballan wrasse and garfish.

Included in the catch bag were coalfish, cod, dab, dogfish, ling, plaice, pollack, pouting, launce and a ballan wrasse.

Pulpit Rock is also a local popular point for Wrasse anglers, and in 1998 the British record Ballan Wrasse was caught here by local expert Pete Hegg.
