Prior to joining PremloCare, Staples served as the President and CEO of Empowering Spirits Foundation, Inc. (ESF), a national non-profit organization he founded in 2008.

Policies are developed based on seven key areas: Culture, Media & Sport, Education & Employment, Empowering Young People, Health, International Matters, Law & Society, and Transport, Environment and Rural Affairs.

He also wrote the Internet Freedom and Family Empowering Act, as well as the law establishing electronic signatures and has been a consistent champion of a neutral and open Internet, filibustering the last major telecommunications act because of it failed to protect network neutrality.
