The Victoria Crowned Pigeon is a deep blue-gray color with a small black mask.

These include a muntjac and a Victoria Crowned Pigeon.

Like other crowned pigeons, the Victoria Crowned Pigeon is a gregarious species.

It also looks very similar to its relatives, the Victoria Crowned Pigeon, and the Western Crowned Pigeon.

The Victoria Crowned Pigeon is distributed in the lowland and swamp forests of northern New Guinea and surrounding islands.

There are two subspecies of the Victoria Crowned Pigeon, Goura victoria beccarii is found on the mainland of New Guinea.

The Victoria Crowned Pigeon (Goura victoria) is a large, bluish-grey pigeon with elegant blue lace-like crests, maroon breast and red iris.

The Victoria Crowned Pigeon is evaluated as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.

Islands in Danger also houses various Indonesian and Philippine rainforest birds, such as Palawan peacock-pheasants, pheasant pigeons and Victoria crowned pigeons.

The largest species of the pigeon/dove complex is the Victoria Crowned Pigeon (Goura victoria) of Northern New Guinea, although the other crowned pigeons approach similar sizes.

Some species include the Micronesian Kingfisher, Guam Rail, Rhinoceros Hornbill, Mariana Fruit Dove, Victoria Crowned Pigeon, and many others.

The Victoria Crowned Pigeon is now the most rarely occurring of the three crowned pigeon species in the wild, although it is the most widely kept species in captivity.

The pavilion houses fifty different species of exotic birds, including Socorro doves, amazilia hummingbirds, Mindanao bleeding-hearts, Bali starlings, toco toucans, splendid sunbirds, Victoria crowned pigeons and blue-winged kookaburras.

Along with its close and very similar looking relatives the Victoria Crowned Pigeon and the Southern Crowned Pigeon, it is one of the largest and is considered one of the most beautiful members of the pigeon family.

The shield is supported by a Victoria Crowned Pigeon, who holds a drum in its dexter claw and a bundle of arrows in its sinister claw also, and surrounded by an arch in chief with the motto "One People, One Soul".

Other species include Asian fairy bluebirds, Bali mynahs, black-collored fruit pigeons, blue-crowned laughing thrushes, jambu fruit doves, Nicobar pigeons, ornate fruit doves, Victoria crowned pigeons, white-throated ground doves, and white-naped pheasant pigeons.

Other animals exhibited in the walk-through area include Asian elephant, American flamingo, collared peccary, black-capped squirrel monkey, Indian flying fox, alpaca, Indian peafowl, pygmy goat, African pied crow, domestic rabbit, helmeted guineafowl, tufted capuchin, screamer, turaco, golden pheasant, Victoria crowned pigeon, and kookaburra.
