There are several varieties of external urine collection devices on the market today including Texas or condom catheters, urinals and hydrocolloid based devices.

Non-pharmacological management includes pelvic floor muscle training, stimulation, pessaries, bladder retraining, changes to daily life habits such as clothing, use of external urine collection devices for men and incontinence pads for women; and sometimes intermittent urinary catheterization.
