A) Enter your Business Number and Excise Refund Account Number.

When you contact us, we will need your Excise Refund Account Number, telephone number, the claim period, the date you sent your application and the amount of your claim.

Excise duty account number – Enter your 9-digit Business Number (BN), two-letter (RD) program identifier, and 4-digit program account number. Excise refund account number – Enter your refund account number.

If the overpayment is for the GST only, the non-registered importer will be required to file for the refund on an excise refund application form (form GST 189, General Application for Rebate of the Goods and Services Tax).
