In some older texts, it is a rough approximation of the coccygeal plexus.

The coccygeal plexus is a plexus of nerves near the coccyx bone.

The anococcygeal nerve arises from a small plexus known as the coccygeal plexus.

Coccygeal plexus originate from S4, S5, Co1 spinal nerves.

It arises from the sacral plexus, and its ventral ramus helps form the coccygeal plexus.

The coccygeal nerve, the last spinal nerve, emerges from the sacral hiatus, unites with the ventral rami of the two last sacral nerves, and forms the coccygeal plexus.

The sacral plexus is formed by the lumbosacral tunnk, the first to third sacral ventral rami, and part of the fourth, the remainder of the last joining the coccygeal plexus.

Muladhara is said to be located near the basal end of the spinal column in the vicinity of the coccygeal plexus beneath the sacrumit, while its kshetram, or superficial activation point, is located on the perineum.
