Cirsium oleraceum (Cabbage thistle) is a species of thistle in the genus Cirsium, native to central and eastern Europe and Asia, where it grows in wet lowland soils.

Cirsium oleraceum is cultivated as a food source in Japan and India.

Adults have been found taking nectar from Rubus, Cirsium oleraceum, Silene vulgaris and Phyteuma.
