The origin for the superior oblique is the Annulus of Zinn.

The origin of the inferior oblique muscle is not on the common tendinous ring (annulus of Zinn).

Circulus arteriosus sclerae also known as Annulus of Zinn (or Circle of Zinn).

Five of the extraocular muscles have their origin in the back of the orbit in a fibrous ring called the annulus of Zinn: the four rectus muscles and the superior oblique muscle.

The annulus of Zinn, also known as the annular tendon or common tendinous ring, is a ring of fibrous tissue surrounding the optic nerve at its entrance at the apex of the orbit.

Some branches of the short posterior ciliary arteries also supply the optic disc via an anastomotic ring, the Circle of Zinn-Haller or Circle of Zinn, which is associated with the fibrous extension of the ocular tendons (Annulus of Zinn).
