By 1975, the 375th gained responsibility for the worldwide aeromedical evacuation system.

The wing operated and maintained an aeromedical evacuation system on a rotational basis in Southwest Asia, September 1990-April 1991.

The Aeromedical Staging Facility is one of only three in the United States responsible for providing care on a worldwide basis for Wounded Warriors traveling in the aeromedical evacuation system.

They provide operational airlift support with 20 C-21A aircraft, DV special airlift missions utilizing three C-40C aircraft, and operate Aeromedical Evacuation systems on seven air mobility platforms for inter/intratheater casualty movement.
