Basic facilities (fireplaces, tables and toilets) are provided at park camping grounds south of Kiata, and at Horseshoe Bend and Ackle Bend south of Dimboola.

Horseshoe and Ackle Bends on the Wimmera River, only a few kilometres from the town, are favourite picnic spots that are recognised for their natural beauty and also good spots for some fishing or camping.
