Unicode

In the future, both may eventually give way to Unicode.

Now almost all the books have been brought out in Unicode.

Create content in any language thanks to full Unicode support.

One example of its use is in Unicode character names.

They are especially useful when working with the unicode character set.

Support for all modern forms is included in the Unicode standard.

Part of these proposals have been already included into Unicode.

The character has been included in Unicode since version 5.1.

However, these characters are not included in the Unicode standard.

So unicode was created to have one common system for all languages.

The names in the following list are taken directly from the Unicode standard.

For this reason the letter has its own code point in Unicode.

These are considered not to be scripts in Unicode sense.

This method does not, therefore, support the full Unicode character set.

It began with support for Unicode strings in its early version 1.0.

Much work is needed to really get Unicode stuff usable.

This appears to have been abandoned in recent Unicode standards.

The Unicode characters have been supported since the version 1.0.76.

But Unicode did not specify room for these characters in their list.

They were introduced to the Unicode standard before 1992, and their name cannot be altered.
