This story was created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Beagle Boys and The Money Bin.

The money bin contains both office space and, most famously, three cubic acres of money, the results of Scrooge's lifetime of business and treasure-seeking adventures.

Next, they march to the Money bin and evade all obstacles with their beam pistol, including a barbed-wire fence, dogs, portcullis, automatically triggered machine gun nests and cannonballs.

As the heroes make their way to the top of the money bin, Merlock takes the lamp for himself and turns the bin into a gigantic floating fortress, carrying the ducks along with him.

To make their chores to rob the Money bin easier, the Beagle Boys acquire an anti-inertia and anti-friction beam pistols from the foolish cabbage professor who invented the petrifying beam.

Scrooge loses his money for a while until the Terries and Fermies give Scrooge his money back by pushing it back up an underground slope back into the money bin.

The money bin sits atop Futterman's Fault, a fault line which would prove catastrophic in the event of an earthquake (this earthquake occurred in the story Land Beneath the Ground!)

The money is caught on barges and carried back to the Money bin, Scrooge shoots the Beagle Boys with both beam pistols and then shoves them into prison with a flick of his finger.

The money bin was built in 1902, shortly after Scrooge entered the diamond market and could no longer sleep at night because all the money he was storing under his mattress raised his bed too close to the ceiling, necessitating a more suitable storage facility for his money.

Although the money bin is a twelve-story skyscraper and vault (filled with "three cubic acres" of money), on various occasions it has been pulled around by a tractor, lifted to the top of a mountain, stolen by aliens from the bottom of the ocean, and blasted open with a cannon.
