Ms. Grey said of a sequel, "I would love to do one, but only if it made sense."
Ms. Grey said he had also promised "extensive support of the book" when it is published.
Ms. Grey described their methods as a mix of candor and discretion.
Another woman, who said she knew Ms. Grey, hurried on down the street, clutching the hands of three children.
Hospital officials said Ms. Grey had other children but they did not say how many.
"We also have 10,000 people who work at the airport and they wanted it, too," Ms. Grey said.
Ms. Grey thinks the book's subject matter will appeal to Americans.
"I wanted to see a picture of the baby," she told Ms. Grey, in a voice that - how shall we say?
Ms. Grey, relaxed and charming, said this sort of thing happened all the time.
"The general will work very hard on the book and make only a few selected public appearances," Ms. Grey said.
