Messianic psalm

A bit of a stretch - but Revelation is the ultimate Messianic Psalm.

There are not only five Messianic Psalms, but these were chosen because of their clear portrayal of the Lord's current most illustrious status.

It refers in the general sense to King David ruling over the enemies of the Israelites and is thought to have become a Messianic psalm used by Christians.

As His disciples saw His ruling passion kindled in His heart and coming out in His life, they remembered that it was written of Him in an old Messianic psalm: 'The zeal of Thine house hath eaten me up.'
