This was intended to stop radical right-wing politics groups making propaganda out of the Siegfried Line.

For the third time, they were facing the Siegfried Line.

In 1938, during the construction of the Siegfried Line, the station had 12 tracks.

They were employed extensively, particularly on the Siegfried Line.

With this organisation's help, huge numbers of workers - up to 500,000 at a time - were found to work on the Siegfried Line.

When the campaign finished, transportable weapons were removed from the Siegfried Line and used in other places.

At the same time, state funding was still being provided to destroy the remains of the Siegfried Line.

The Siegfried Line was still a dozen or so kilometres to the east.

The first task was to get through the Siegfried Line.

This mainly entailed the building of the (second) Siegfried Line.
